These library programs are designed for the library's teenage readers in grades 6-12.

2024 TEEN SUMMER READING PROGRAM
Teens are invited to participate in this year’s Teen Summer Reading Bingo Challenge from Monday, June 10th – Monday, August 5th! This summer teens have a fantastic chance to win exciting prizes by diving into great books from the library. All it takes is filling out a bingo card with the titles of the books you read or completing the tasks listed on the card. To participate, visit the library on or after June 10th to fill out a Teen Summer Reading Form and pick up your first bingo card. Begin your summer reading adventure today! Teen Craft: D.I.Y. Resin Bookmarks
Monday, July 29th from 3:00pm - 7:00pm
Create a bookmark that shows the world who you are! Teens in grades 7-12 are invited to join us as we explore resin art by making our own bookmarks using molds, paint, and decorative elements. All materials provided If you are interested in attending, please register online here.
Teen Activity: Balloon Splatter Painting
Monday, August 5th from 3:00pm - 7:00pm
Make a mess and make some art! Teens are invited to express themselves and enjoy the process of throwing darts to pop paint balloons and make a splatter painting. Join us to create one-of-a-kind art. If you are interested in attending, please register online here.
Teen Advisory Board Meeting
Wednesday, August 14th at 6:00pm
Teens in grades 7-12 are invited to join the library’s Teen Advisory Board (TAB)! At this meeting, we create a book display and decorate the teen area! Pizza will be provided. Join the Teen Advisory Board to make a difference at the library and get community service hours! If you are interested in joining TAB, please register online here. Tiefling Tea Party
Monday, August 26th at 6:00pm
Teens are invited to join the Tiefling Tea Party! This group provides a safe and welcoming space for teens to be their true authentic selves and to meet new teens in the area! Madison Baxter from the Hugh Lane Wellness Foundation will be at this meeting. If you are interested in attending, please register online here.
